Land Fitness / Group Exercise classes are offered continuously throughout the year with only a break for Christmas holiday.
Each class runs for 7-8 weeks long, unless stated otherwise.
Center & Flow
This one hour yoga based class features a calm soothing warm up, sun salutations, a strength portion, a flexibility portion, and a relaxation/meditation conclusion. Emphasis is placed on proper form and breathing. Participants are encouraged to work at their level and modifications can be given to help the participation gradually attain success in a posture. It’s a fun and calm environment.

Body Fit
Come enjoy a variety of workout styles, three days a week. Each session begins with a warm-up and ends with a short devotional thought and a a cool-down. Experience cardio, step circuits, low-impact weight training, HIIT( high intensity interval training), barre, and more with a group of people ready to encourage and cheer you on to meet your goals. Come enjoy Body Fit with our instructor Erica Nation as she will coach and encourage you to achieve your goals.

With this HIIT class, you get a full body workout using a variety of weights, body strength, and cardio. Consisting of short bursts of hard work alternated with short periods of rest. It will challenge your muscles and endurance and even help build a stronger, healthier heart. Guaranteed to never get bored as each class consists of a different workout.

Adult Stretch
This class will move your entire body through a series of seated and standing poses to safely perform a variety of exercises. By focusing on all major muscle groups, participants will gain increased flexibility, balance and range of motion. Sedentary and active individuals of all skill levels are welcome as instructor Jessica guides and encourages the class to work through the various exercises.

Silver Sneakers Yoga
The Christian County YMCA is a proud participant of the Silver Sneaker Program! This comprehensive fitness program addresses the needs of Medicare (65+) population. Silver Sneaker is a fitness program for seniors that’s included with many Medicare Advantage plans. Silver Sneakers helps millions of people on Medicare defy the odds and shatter stereotypes.
This class moves the body through a series of standing and seated poses increasing core strength in order to perform a variety of postures, increase flexibility, improve balance & increase range of motion. This class welcomes all skill levels! Breathing exercises will also be introduced to promote relaxation and mental clarity.
